Neutrogena Clinical works as stated
I have been using this product, the Neutrogena Clinical Facial Lifting Wrinkle Treatment SPF30 for about 3 weeks and I saw improvement in my skin texture immediately and improvements to wrinkles/facial lines as I've continued to use it. Although it is true that this is less costly than many other high end products I still think it is quite pricey unless bought on Amazon (and any mail in rebates/discount coupons help alot). Our local CVS sells this same item for $39.95.

This Works
I believe this product works, and it's one of the few products I have gone on to repurchase, after going through the first container. I have most noticed results under my eyes, I was seeing wrinkles there, some new ones too, eek, and after a few weeks, I really am not sure how long it took to see results there, it could have been even less time, I saw that the skin was much smoother there and some wrinkles had actually disappeared, the area looked better in general. On the upper lid, there's an improvement that is not, line for line so noticeable, as I just felt that my eyes looked more wide open and in turn, my make up and eye shadows looked better. I just looked better. On the rest of my face, I can feel the difference as soon as I put it on, it's very smoothing, I decided, because it's a little costly, to just use it either night or day, so I chose day and take advantage of the 30 SPF day cream that comes with it. I will add as a hint, regarding looking at your skin for improvements, pick a particular light and mirror and posture for this, and I'd recommend looking straight into the mirror, rather than having one in your hand forcing you to look down, even slightly. Looking down causes your face to pull down and makes sagging and wrinkling more evident. So look straight ahead, which is the way others will see you, and you can best see the improvements. I particularly like that I can use this on my neck and jawline, I think the area there looks smoother as well.

This taught me I have sensitive skin- ouch!
I got this free after rebate, or else I wouldn't have bought something so expensive. For the first few days I really liked it, made my skin feel very silky-smooth, but then after about 4 days my skin hurt when I put it on, which I stupidly ignored, and tried it for another 2 days until it just hurt too much. For about a week after, my skin has been red with a layer peeling off the top- so I had to walk around with very scaly-looking skin that didn't improve with any moisturizers, vaseline, etc. I eventually picked off all the scales with tweezers, and then just had a red layer that I had to treat gently until it finally went back to normal. I didn't realize I had sensitive skin until I tried this. I just knew that normally I need to put on moisturizer after I wash my face. I don't know what all is in this stuff, but I do wonder if it has retin A or some other heavy-duty skin-peeler. If you think you may have sensitive skin, avoid this product!!!

good and bad
Saw this products in grocery stores but never thought about buying one, until the free after rebate promotion. I think it's kind of pricey for over the counter beauty products but when it's free? Why not give it a try!? So I did. And as the title of this review, the good thing I like about this product is it's easy to apply and it seems to fade my 2 sun spots a little bit! The bad thing is it dries me out! I have combination skin and a couple months into summer that I wasn't feeling any dryness until I tried this products. It's a 3.5 star to me!

Misleading name, should be "Improve Facial Texture Treatment"
I'm a 60 year old women, wasn't looking for a wrinkle cream (fortunately don't have many) but wanted something to make the texture of my face to be smoother and softer. Saw the before and after pictures in an advertisement,and it really showed an improvement. The little fine lines I have diminished. It is now more even and not ruff around my cheeks. It can be expensive but Amazon has a great price. I think Neutrogena is a quality OTC brand. A few other brands are coming out with this two step, cream and activator process, but Neutrogena was the first and is confident enough in their product to show real before and after pictures. I have gotten compliments on my skin since I've been using it.
