How do people get cosmetic procedures covered by Tricare?

My husband is in the army and after having our two little girls, I would like to have a tummy tuck. I have Yahoo Answered the topic and most people have answered that you can be covered by Tricare if you have hadGastric Bypass.
I grew up Military and know for a FACT that women had breast augmentation, tummy tucks, and other cosmetic procedures covered by Tricare.
Does anyone know what the loophole is? Please only those who has or knows someone who has had Tricare covered cosmetic procedures.

I was in the Air Force for 8 years and worked in surgery. If I remember correctly, it has to be tied to a mental health issue. What I mean by that is that I know of active duty females that had breast augmentation due to the fact that they had "mental health issues" associated with having small breasts. I know it sounds silly, and a huge waste of tax dollars, but that is how it went down. I'm sure if you looked into it you could work a similar type of deal.

Customer Reviews

Not for learning techniques in depth
I am a huge fan of Carruther's and really enjoy thier Botox book. I decided to add this one to my collection with the hopes of learning some advanced techniques, tips, tricks, etc. I was disappointed in that respect. It did not talk about "how to" very much other than for the nasaolabial folds and lips. No advanced techniques. The book touches on each type of filler on the market, many not used in the US. It has a section for fillers in skin of color, a great section on how to do the various nerve blocks and a great section on complications. I have seen their material copyright infringed upon by aesthetic workshops/classes and their work is really the gold standard. The DVD is quick snippits of different procedures using various fillers. This will serve me as an excellent refrence for the basics but if your looking for advanced training I'd suggest this is not the best book.
I'm happy with it.
I appreciate so much to editors of Procedures in cosmetic dermatology seria, it's just what you need whether you start your practice or you are the trainer yourself. The information is very structured and comprehensive. DVD is great. I have two book: BTX and chemical peels. Besides doing my job well I always have something interesting to tell my patients about the history and practical cases taken from these books, they like it very much.
a wonderful guide for physicians learning aesthetic procedures
I have purchased 4 of the books in this series and I am delighted with the content, presentation and supplied DVDs. If a practitioner wants to approach a new skill/procedure in his/her office, they will want hands-on symposiums, didactic lectures, and a reference textbook. This book and the ones on chemical peels, Botox, and laser txs are just what the doc oredered. You will not be disappointed.

Customer Reviews

I disagree with the reviewer above
I have used Rejuvox for the past several years and must say that I have always been pleased with it. I don't know if it makes me look younger or not, it feels good to put on and I know it can't do any harm, plus my friends constantly remark about how I seem to never age. That's all I have to say on the subject. I believe the reviewer above protests too much and there must be something else lurking beneath the surface of that review besides bad skin.
DON'T WAST YOUR MONEY ~ THIS PRODUCT IS GARBAGE
Caution ~ The seller of this product is trying to use a fresh listing to sell this absolutely useless product. This is my review and my own experience with this completely overpriced pasty product:

~ This is the WORST product ever! After using it EXACTLY as the instructions stated, my wrinkles were enhanced and my face was extremely dry. There was no relaxing of the wrinkles, in fact, new ones appeared since the product dried my face so drastically. I looked like I had aged 20 years in one month of use. All I can say is learn from my expensive mistake and if you really want something that will relax your wrinkles, use botox!

Do NOT waste your money, do not purchase this product because if you do, you will be very sorry! Remember this review!
