Do not buy - defective product
I have owned this product for less than one year and I'm waiting to hear back regarding this second device they mailed out to me. I do not use it as often as I should, but still, it does not work for longer than about two months and then the battery does not hold a charge. The price that you have to pay for this product is a lot so it should work considerably longer.
The customer service from their home office is not good. They take forever to get back to you.
Spend your money on something else - this is NOT worth it.

promising results so far!
First of all, I did not buy this product from Amazon because I found a better deal (for both red and blue heads in a total package) at a major department store in the U.S. I was wary of this product because of the negative reviews about service and quality. I also considered the ANSR, which also includes both red and blue but for much cheaper, but it is not FDA-approved yet, so I decided to go ahead with the Tanda. I was also encouraged by Tanda's comments on several of the negative reviews here, promising to rectify unhappy customers' issues. When I received the device I found the instructions for the blue light a little confusing, and received extremely prompt responses (sometimes within an hour) to my questions via e-mail from Tanda customer service. Very impressive.
As for the device itself, I've only been using it for a week, but in that time I have only had one new zit (very tiny) and I have the type of problem skin that usually offers me new "surprises" every morning, of every variety (blackheads, whiteheads, pustules, and cysts). The red marks I have from recent zits (including cysts) are fading faster than I have ever experienced (I think this is due to the red light). I do use an antibiotic for my (mild) cystic acne, since Tanda does not claim to help this type of acne, but even so I usually still have at least one cyst that breaks through--but not this past week. I have not changed anything else in my routine--I chose not to use the products that came with the Tanda because I wanted to evaluate its effectiveness on its own.
In sum, promising results so far! I will check back in closer to the 30-day money-back guarantee. The only drawback so far is the time it takes--I do a full 9 minutes on my chin alone (a big problem area for me) but the device is so light I can even read to my daughter with one hand while using the Tanda with the other.
Edited 8/9/2010 to add: After 2.5 weeks, my enthusiasm is tempered a little. The second week, I had a huge breakout all across my chin, my problem area. I tried some new topical products (salicylic acid and calamine) and kept up with the blue and red lights. After another week, I do have two cysts still (the Tanda does not claim to help them anyway) but the other zits are gone. Not sure if it's the topical treatment or the Tanda, but I'll keep going with it--I *hope* it's helping!

Good bye costly laser treatments!
I only use the red light, but it was enough to help get rid of acne blemishes and my skin texture has improved tremendously! No more rough textured skin or enlarged pores. I love this product! No more do i have to spend thousands at the doctors office on the latest laser treatments!

Incredible!
As a professional Facialist I know the benefits of LED therapy for the skin. When this product first came out I was so excited over it for my own home use! I see and feel a difference in my skin! It is portable and easy to keep sanitized. Great for all skin types and fool proof to use. Great if you have an acne spot coming out and great for building collagen in our skin! A great system for any one of any age!

Bad luck with product
The light would not stay on for three minutes after fully charged. When I reported it to the seller, they quickly sent me a replacement, without charging me for shipping. Unfortunately, the second one was worse than the first one. I was turned off at the defects and relized that this problem is probably common for this product eventually.
The seller was very professional and refunded my money when I returned the second item. I did pay for the shipping to return the replacement.
I was disappointed with product.
